"The manner of wearing ornaments by the wives of Bhoja's enemies is unique: in both their eyes they wear bracelets (tears), and upon the sprout of their hands a mark (sesame seeds for the water-offering to their slain husbands). The meaning is that the enemy wives, eyes filled with tears and holding sesame in hand, offer water libations to their dead husbands. These tears are bracelets for their eyes, and the sesame seeds in hand are their forehead marks." Pleased, the king once more gave a hundred thousand \[coins\] for every syllable.
