"O illustrious Great King, when the entire world was made white by your fame,
now this Viṣṇu, the Supreme Being, searches for the Ocean of Milk; Shiva, bearer of matted locks,
for Kailāsa; Indra, bearer of the thunderbolt, for the divine elephant Airāvata; Rāhu for the moon; and
Brahmā, who dwells in a lotus, for his mount, the goose:
Taking water and milk, the lotus-born \[Brahmā\] goes to every flock of birds;
holding buttermilk, Mukunda \[Viṣṇu\], discus in hand, wanders through all the oceans;
looking with his destructive eye, Paśupati \[Śiva\] burns all the lofty mountains,
O king, Bhoja, lord of the earth, since the beloved of your fame pervades the three worlds!" (3)
