kṣārauṣadhipaṭvamlaiḥ kṣudbodho rāgabandhane svedāt /
na punaḥ pakṣacchedo dravatvaṃ vā vinā gaganam //
Through steaming with alkalis, herbs, salts, and sours, there is awakening of hunger for the fixation of color, / but there is no clipping of the wings or fluidity without mica.
