> Vidārī, pañcāṅgula, vṛścikālī, vṛścīva, devāhvaya, the two śūrpaparṇīs,
> kaṇḍūkarī, the two sets of five called jīvana and hrasva, gopasutā, and tripādī.
> And in those who indulge improperly in sleep, waking, and sexual intercourse:
> Therefore in all of those, one should first employ oleation and sudation which pacify vāta;
> mild purgation accompanied by unctuous substances, and various types of enemas of that kind, as well as sour, salty, and sweet tastes, applied with proper reasoning.
> For when vāta is conquered, even with little effort any other doṣa can be controlled in cases of gulma.
> Therefore, in eye diseases, one should promptly treat the terrible cataract (timira).
