One desiring wealth should engage in action that does not conflict with either world.

And one whose natural urges have been released \[may engage in\] travel, sleep, meals, assemblies, and women.

Therefore, one should treat her with care according to the prescribed rule.

Treated in this way for a month and a half, gradually freed from the constraints of diet and conduct, she becomes free of the designation of a puerperal woman—or, according to some, until the reappearance of menstrual fluid.

Both flanks seem to break, and the heart feels as if it is falling.

Śatāvarī, gopakanyā, the two kākolīs, and liquorice;

Excitation of doṣas, severe abdominal distension, cutting pain, and discharge.

Emaciated, he smears his own urine and feces without disgust.
