The means of non-contact with spirits and the like have also been stated individually;
This procedure has been expounded in brief to prevent \[their\] arising.
For their apertures are connected to it; therefore they are nourished by them,
and through them they carry perspiration.
Likewise, they carry inward the potency of massages, pastes, and the like, digested in the skin, and perceive touch.
The intense thirst that arises is known as symptomatic thirst.
In depleted vital essence, voice, and semen, in disorders and discharge of the female genital tract,
in those whose children die, in barren women, and in miscarriage of the fetus, it is beneficial.
Therefore, it is considered superior among fruits and the like in applications of non-unctuous enemas.
May Dhanvantari and Agastya grant you who are well-bathed \[blessings\]!
