svedaḥ saptavidhiḥ prokto loṣṭasvedo bāṣpasvedo'gnijvālāsvedaḥ ghaṭīsvedo
jalasvedaḥ phalasvedo vālukāsvedaśca

Thus, in the Hārītottara spoken by Ātreya, in the fourth section, the sūtrasthāna, [this is] the rule for the nirūha enema procedure,

na tailena vinā svedaṃ kadācidapi kārayet
tailenābhyañjayetsvedaṃ sa bhavedguṇakārakaḥ

tīvrajvare dāhaśoṣe tathātīsārapīḍite
mūrcchābhramadāhārtte ca viṣe svedaṃ na kārayet

śūlaśophāture vāte śītaśleṣmātureṣu ca
eteṣāṃ śasyate svedo narāṇāṃ sukhadāyakaḥ
