Bhūvarāha in the north, and in the northeast and the western gate;
201.4
one should worship Garuḍa with 'Kaṃ Ṭaṃ Saṃ Śaṃ', facing east in the south,
and with 'Khaṃ Chaṃ Vaṃ Huṃ Phaṭ' and 'Khaṃ Ṭhaṃ Phaṃ Śaṃ' the club in the north;
201.5

201.8
arched gateways, a canopy, and, having meditated in sequence on the maṇḍalas
with the seed-syllables of fire, wind, and the moon, having saluted the body, one should then flood [it].
201.9
Then, having meditated on one's own subtle form situated in the sky,
immersed in white nectar flowing from the disc of the moon,
201.10
and that very nectar-seed of one's own self, purified by flooding,
one should imagine oneself as the Person being brought into being.
201.11
'I am born as Viṣṇu himself'—one should deposit the twelve seed-syllables:
the heart, the head, the crest, the armor, and the weapon,
201.12
one should deposit again on the chest, crown, crest, back, and eyes;
having deposited the weapon on both hands, one then becomes of divine body.

201.13
As upon oneself, so upon the deity, and likewise one should deposit upon the body of the disciple.
The worship of Hari in the heart is traditionally considered free of remnant flowers;
201.14
accompanied by remnant flowers in the maṇḍala and so forth. With blindfolded eyes, the disciples
should cast a flower; on whichever icon [it falls], he should assign him that name.
201.15
Having seated the disciples to the left, he should offer sesame, rice, and ghee in the fire;
having offered one hundred and eight [oblations], or a thousand for the purification of the body,
201.16
and more than a hundred for the icons and limbs of the nine emanations,
having given the full oblation, he should initiate them; and the guru should be honored by them with wealth.

Thus ends the two hundred and first chapter, named the Worship of the Nine Emanations, in the Great Agni Purāṇa.
