For as long as the Puruṣasūkta lasts, for that long she remained \[in the water\]; / afterwards, having recited the supreme great mantra named Veṅkaṭeśa,

### [3.27.13](https://indike.org/pramana/in.purana.garuda~en-mt.3.27.13)

and having pleased the twice-born with clothes, wealth, ornaments, and the like, / the lady departed from there to the excellent sacred water of the Maiden.

### [3.27.14](https://indike.org/pramana/in.purana.garuda~en-mt.3.27.14)

### [3.27.17](https://indike.org/pramana/in.purana.garuda~en-mt.3.27.17)

Therefore, it is called Antargaṅgā by the supreme sages. / O maiden, its water is always dear to Śrīnivāsa.

### [3.27.18](https://indike.org/pramana/in.purana.garuda~en-mt.3.27.18)

### [3.27.23](https://indike.org/pramana/in.purana.garuda~en-mt.3.27.23)

Anciently, Nārada engaged in asceticism along with Tuṃburu. / Here Viṣṇu manifested for the welfare of Nārada.

### [3.27.24](https://indike.org/pramana/in.purana.garuda~en-mt.3.27.24)

Whoever bathes here goes to the supreme state. / A bath here is rare for all men in the Kali \[age\].

### [3.27.25](https://indike.org/pramana/in.purana.garuda~en-mt.3.27.25)

### [3.27.29](https://indike.org/pramana/in.purana.garuda~en-mt.3.27.29)

### [3.27.30](https://indike.org/pramana/in.purana.garuda~en-mt.3.27.30)

Above that, the highly fortunate lady went, and there she saw / the tīrthas of the five weapons; in those she took a bath.

### [3.27.31](https://indike.org/pramana/in.purana.garuda~en-mt.3.27.31)

Above that is the Agnikuṇḍa, difficult of ascent; forward from that, / above it, is the Brahmatīrtha, which frees from the killing of a brāhmaṇa.

### [3.27.32](https://indike.org/pramana/in.purana.garuda~en-mt.3.27.32)

Above that is the holy tīrtha of the Seven Sages, bearing good fruit. / The fruit of these tīrthas increases tenfold, each higher than the last.

### [3.27.37](https://indike.org/pramana/in.purana.garuda~en-mt.3.27.37)

Lakṣmī always prepares the food offering for the Lord of Veṅkaṭa, / and Brahmā worships daily; such is the determination of scripture.

### [3.27.38](https://indike.org/pramana/in.purana.garuda~en-mt.3.27.38)

One should not make mockery of men who eat the food offering. / Even if lacking one's own preference, food offerings such as raw sugar / must certainly be accepted, there is no doubt; otherwise one becomes an inhabitant of hell.

### [3.27.39](https://indike.org/pramana/in.purana.garuda~en-mt.3.27.39)

There is no god higher than Śrīnivāsa, nor has there been, nor will there be. / Having cooked by oneself, likewise \[food\] cooked with ghee and the like, / and having presented it as a food offering to Śrīnivāsa, one should partake of food.
