Skandapurana 16.155

Īśvara said: / Then, O great goddess, one should go to the unsurpassed Ratneśvara. / Having performed austerity there, O goddess, by the all-powerful Viṣṇu / that liṅga granting all desires was established there, O beloved. // 1

A man who bathes in Ratnakuṇḍa and constantly worships it / with all services and devotion, obtains his desired reward. // 2

Having performed severe austerity here, by Kṛṣṇa of boundless splendor / was obtained the Sudarśana discus that brings an end to all daityas. // 3

This place, O great goddess, is ever very dear to me; / I dwell there, O ruler of the gods, and even at universal dissolution I do not abandon it. // 4

That Vaiṣṇava sacred field is known by the name Sudarśana, O goddess; / its circumference on all sides is thirty-six bow-lengths. // 5

Whosoever the base living beings that reach this space / and die under the power of Time, O goddess, they shall go to the supreme state. // 6

Whoever offers there a golden Garuḍa and yellow garments / dedicated to Viṣṇu, he obtains the fruit of the pilgrimage. // 7

Thus ends the one hundred and fifty-fifth chapter, named "Description of the Greatness of Ratneśvara", in the first [part], the "Prabhāsakṣetramāhātmya", in the seventh section, the "Prabhāsakhaṇḍa", of the glorious Skandamahāpurāṇa, a compendium of eighty-one thousand [verses].
