.. īśvara uvāca .. ..
tato gacchenmahādevi liṃgānāṃ ca catuṣṭayam ..
ekasthānasthitānāṃ tu sāvitryāstatra paścime .. 1 ..
Īśvara said: / Then, O great goddess, one should go to the four liṅgas / situated in a single place to the west of Sāvitrī there. (1)

liṃgānāṃ dvitayaṃ pūrve paścime sammukhadvayam ..
kuśakeśvaranāmeti liṃgaṃ vai prathamaṃ smṛtam .. 2 ..
A pair of liṅgas is in the east, and two face them in the west. / The first is known as the liṅga named Kuśakeśvara; (2)

gargeśvaraṃ dvitīyaṃ tu tṛtīyaṃ puṣkareśvaram ..
maitreyeśvaranāmeti caturthaṃ samudāhṛtam .. 3 ..
the second is Gargeśvara, the third is Puṣkareśvara, / and the fourth is declared by the name Maitreyeśvara. (3)

etāni yastu liṃgāni paśyedbhaktyā jitendriyaḥ ..
sa muktaḥ pātakaiḥ sarvairgacchecchivapuraṃ mahat .. .. 4 ..
Whoever, with senses conquered, sees these liṅgas with devotion, / freed from all sins, goes to the great city of Śiva. (4)

śuklapakṣe caturdaśyāṃ vaiśākhe tu viśeṣataḥ ..
snānaṃ kṛtvā prayatnena brāhmaṇāṃstatra bhojayet .. 5 ..
Having made ritual ablution with effort, especially on the fourteenth of the bright fortnight in Vaiśākha, / one should feed brahmins there. (5)

tebhyo dadyādyathāśaktyā kāñcanaṃ vasanāni ca ..
evaṃ kṛte bhavedyātrā paripūrṇā sureśvari .. 6 ..
One should give them gold and garments according to one’s ability. / When this is done, O ruler of the gods, the pilgrimage becomes complete. (6)

iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ saptame prabhāsakhaṃḍe prathame prabhāsakṣetramāhātmye kuśakādiliṃgacatuṣṭayamāhātmyavarṇanaṃnāma trisaptatyuttaratatamo'dhyāyaḥ .. 173 ..
Thus ends the one hundred and seventy-third chapter, named “Description of the Māhātmya of the Four Liṅgas Beginning with Kuśaka,” in the first [part], the Prabhāsakṣetramāhātmya, in the seventh [khaṇḍa], the Prabhāsakhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa consisting of eighty-one thousand verses.
