Īśvara said: / Then one should go, O great goddess, to the liṅga that destroys sin, / situated in the south corner, three bow-lengths from Siddheśa, / named Māṇḍavyeśvara, destroying heinous sins. 1

kuryādyo'tīndriyo martyo na sa martye punarvrajet .. 2 ..
