Īśvara said: / Then one should go, O great goddess, to Hara as Ajīgarteśvara, / located near the Candravāpī, close to Karmamoṭī.

tasyāṃ snātvā mahādevi yastalligaṃ prapūjayet ..
sa muktaḥ pātakairghorairgacchecchivapadaṃ mahat .. 2 ..
Having bathed in it, O great goddess, whoever worships that liṅga / is freed from terrible sins and goes to the supreme abode of Śiva.

iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ saptame prabhāsakhaṇḍe prathame prabhāsakṣetramāhātmye'jīgarteśvaramāhātmyavarṇanaṃ nāmaikanavatyuttaraśatatamo'dhyāyaḥ .. 191 ..
Thus ends the one hundred and ninety-first chapter, named 'Description of the Glory of Ajīgarteśvara', in the first [part], 'Glory of the Prabhāsa Field', of the seventh [section], Prabhāsakhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa consisting of eighty-one thousand verses.
