> 'Where the breath of living beings flows equally, O beloved'—by this the examination of that great cremation ground is stated: in which place the viṣuva flows for living beings residing there—namely, the outflow of exhalation and inhalation happens equally from both nostrils, meaning the arising of suṣumnā occurs—that great cremation ground bestows freedom from rebirth; this is the meaning to be understood. —Commentary on the Skandapurāṇa.
