Īśvara said: / To the southern side from there, at a distance of five bows, my dear, / there are ponds of hot water, even today, O fair-faced one. / 1

kuṇḍataḥ pūrvadigbhāge dhanuṣāṃ pañcaviṃśatau ..
rukmiṇī saṃsthitā devī sarvapātakanāśinī .. 2..
To the eastern side of the pond, at twenty-five bows, / goddess Rukmiṇī is situated, the destroyer of all sins. / 2

snātvā taptodake kuṇḍe koṭihatyāvināśane..
tataḥ saṃpūjayeddevīṃ rukmiṇīṃ rukmadāyinīm ..
sapta janmāni nārīṇāṃ gṛhabhaṃgo na jāyate .. 3 ..
Having bathed in the hot-water pond, which destroys ten million murders, / one should then worship goddess Rukmiṇī, the bestower of gold; / for women, there is no ruin of the household for seven lifetimes. / 3
