2.2.31.85

bhaktayastādṛśo viprāḥ sarveṣāṃ pṛthivīkṣitām ..
O brahmins, among all the rulers of the earth—such devotion.
2.2.31.103

na ke'pi tattvaṃ jānaṃti mānuṣīṃ tanumāsthitāḥ ..
None know his true nature when they dwell in a human body;
2.2.31.109
avatārāḥ pravartaṃte viṣṇorasya yugeyuge .. 54 ..
avatāras of this Viṣṇu proceed age after age.
2.2.31.110
dharmasthāpanayā viprā līyaṃte svapade punaḥ ..
Through establishing dharma, O brahmins, they dissolve again into their own abode.
2.2.31.111
pūrvaṃ ca brahmaṇā proktaḥ sa cānena parasparam .. 55 ..

sthātā parārddhaparyaṃtaṃ bhagavāndārurūpadhṛk ..
The Lord, assuming the form of wood, will remain until the end of a parārdha.
2.2.31.113

when darkness has fallen, as the great festival swells for everyone,
2.2.31.127
ācchanne śrīpateraṃge pramādapariśaṃkayā .. 63 ..
the body of the Lord of Śrī being covered out of apprehension of mishap,
2.2.31.128
paṭupaṭṭadukūleṣu nīyamāneṣu dūrataḥ ..
while strong silk and fine cloth are brought from afar,
2.2.31.129
gatervegāttadottānīkṛtāsye jagatāṃ gurau .. 64 ..
as the Teacher of the worlds has his face turned upward due to the speed of movement,
2.2.31.130
āvarttadṛṣṭayo devā divārohaṇaśaṃkinaḥ ..
the gods, turning their gazes, fearing he might ascend to heaven,

2.2.31.136
tato maṃcasthitaṃ brahmarūpaṃ pratyarcayā saha ..
Then, having covered all the limbs of the manifestation of Brahman standing on the platform,
2.2.31.137
ācchādya sarvāṇyaṃgāni mukhavarjaṃ sucelakaiḥ .. 68 ..
along with the secondary image, except for the face, with fine garments,
2.2.31.138
vinā nivedyaṃ saṃpūjya upacāraiḥ puroditaiḥ ..
and having worshiped without an offering of food, using the articles of worship declared before,
2.2.31.139

with minds yearning for the sacred procession, do not sink in the ocean of worldly existence.

buddhyabuddhikṛtaḥ puṃsāmanādiḥ pāpasaṃcayaḥ ..
The beginningless accumulation of sins of men, committed knowingly or unknowingly,

even the sight of the ceremonial bath of each one grants enjoyment and liberation. // 87
