śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca -
tasyaivānantaraṃ rājannanditīrthaṃ vrajecchubham .
sarvapāpaharaṃ puṃsāṃ nandinā nirmitaṃ purā .. 94.1 ..
Śrī Mārkaṇḍeya said: / Immediately after that, O king, one should go to the auspicious Nanditīrtha, / which removes all sins of men and was created by Nandin of old,

pāpaughahatajantūnāṃ mokṣadaṃ narmadātaṭe .
ahorātroṣito bhūtvā nandināthe yudhiṣṭhira .. 94.2 ..
bestowing liberation on the bank of the Narmadā to creatures stricken by a flood of sins. / Having fasted for a day and night at Nandinātha, O Yudhiṣṭhira,

pañcopacārapūjāyāmarcayennandikeśvaram .

one should worship Nandikeśvara with a fivefold offering of worship. / And whoever gives jewels to brahmins, O son of Dharma,

sa yāti paramaṃ sthānaṃ yatra vāsaḥ pinākinaḥ .
sarvasaukhyasamāyukto'psarobhiḥ saha modate .. 94.4 ..
