16.362.1

Īśvara said:
Then, O great goddess, one should go to Maṇḍūkeśvara;
the liṅga installed there is indeed named after Māṇḍūkyāyana.

16.362.2

There is the pool Koṭihrada, O goddess, and likewise Koṭīśvara Śiva;
and there the troop of Mothers resides, which grants the fruits of desires.

16.362.3

Having bathed at the sacred ford of Koṭihrada, whoever properly worships that liṅga
and worships the Mothers right there is freed from suffering and sorrow.

16.362.4

One yojana to the east of that, O queen of gods, is the pure well
famed as Tritakūpa, which destroys all sins,
because, O goddess, all sacred fords reside right there.

16.362.361

Thus ends the three hundred sixty-first chapter, titled 'The Description of the Greatness of Koṭihrada and Maṇḍūkeśvara', in the Prabhāsakṣetramāhātmya, the first section of the Prabhāsakhaṇḍa, the seventh part of the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa consisting of eighty-one thousand verses.
