> Having turned the pressing-stones facing each other, he touches \[them\] with: ‘Falcons, swift, embryos of cosmic order, offspring of the unrestrained, peaks of the mountains: bring us that hero whom many of us can live upon, who executes blame, who is not to be blamed, who casts blame on another!’ A hero is indeed born to him who executes blame, who is not to be blamed, who casts blame on another. He pushes up the wooden trough with: ‘Here do I push myself up into spiritual luster.’ If he has an expelled noble, he should turn the pressing-stones facing away, silently push up the wooden trough, and tilting it, draw it out to the south with: ‘Here do I push that man out from the people; here do I overturn his realm!’—he should overturn the wooden trough face downward. Having turned the pressing-stones facing each other, having spoken the name of the noble who is his, he should push up the wooden trough with: ‘Here do I push that man up into the people.’ The one is excluded; the other goes \[into power\]. If, having expelled him, he should not heed him, and should desire of him, ‘Let him be kept expelled right within here!’—having turned the pressing-stones facing away, silently pushing up the wooden trough, he should place a pressing-stone upon it from above with: ‘These are the dust-pressing ones; here do I push that man up into that people.’ Completely destroyed, he perishes without surviving. If he, having recognized this, should run up to him, \[saying,\] ‘Surely in this Brahmin resides this \[power\], since he said this word to him’—having turned the pressing-stones facing each other, he should push up the wooden trough with: ‘Here do I push that man up into the people.’ He rules over his own people; his kin respect him; immediately he ceases to be excluded.
