> There are the Dharma and Vidharma \[days\]. By means of dharma the gods became the law; by means of vidharma they struck away the lawless. In this \[rite\], both these kinds of meters are used: two-footed meters and over-meters, the greatest and the shortest meters. Cattle are meters. Therefore, both kinds of cattle attend upon the prosperous man, the greatest and the shortest. Both kinds of cattle attend upon him, the greatest and the shortest, who knows thus. The sacrificial gift for it is a horse-drawn chariot yoked with four. All horses are worth a hundred \[cows\]. He \[the charioteer\] has a golden breastplate, a trembling garment, all ornaments, and is radiant. His chariot-casing is of tiger-skin; his quiver of panther-skin; his bow-case of bear-skin. The warrior on the chariot has armor made of rhinoceros-hide, being girded; his charioteer is girded; he is covered by two guards. The charioteer wears a necklet and a garland. This is the form of brilliance, this of honor. At it, he gives this honored wealth, thinking: 'Being honored, let me give honored wealth.' They enrich the stoma with that form.
