> He measured them out.
> Into them he laid the threefold Veda.
> He extended them.
> Into them he laid these three worlds.
> He extended them.
> He said: "Great indeed has this measure (māna) of theirs become!"
> Because he said, "Great indeed has this measure of theirs become," that is the mahāmānī-nature of the Mahāmānīs.
> Mahāmānīs indeed are these by name.
> They are cryptically called "Mahānāmnīs."
> He gave them to the gods.
> With them the gods praised today;
> they were able (aśaknuvan) tomorrow.
> Now, because having praised today they were able tomorrow, that is the śakvarī-nature of the Śakvarīs.
> He is able to do whatever he strives for, who knows thus.
> The gods could not hold them up.
> They gave them back to Prajāpati himself.
> Having lived with Prajāpati for a year, they walked away.
> He said: "Why have you walked away?"
