> Now as for \[the syllable\] 'dhā': for this one takes away (harati) all this.
> Whoever knows this thus, whether he does good or whether he does not, what is done by him becomes good only.
> And let him know: 'I do only what is good, not what is not good.
> The world that is made by good deeds—that world is my world.'
> That very world becomes his.
> The world of everyone else wears away;
> the world of him who knows thus does not wear away.
> This indeed is the leading deity;
> for this deity led forth (aprāṇayata) all this.
> Because it led forth, therefore it is breath (prāṇa).
> When he who knows thus departs from this world, this very deity, taking hold of him, flies up.
> It brings him to that world beyond which there is none higher.
> Regarding this they say: 'He indeed should sacrifice with the twelve-day rite, or he indeed should officiate at the twelve-day rite, who knows this established in the sun.' For Āditya is indeed the twelve-day rite; day and night are his introductory rite and concluding rite.
> The day is the introductory rite; the night is the concluding rite.
> His eastern rays are the first day;
