For it while being erected he recites [verses] containing 'erect' and containing 'up': 'Erect thyself, O lord of the forest', 'Leaning in the east of the kindled fire', 'Born, he is born in the fairness of days', 'Stand up erect for our aid', 'Erect, protect us from distress with thy banner.'

With [the verse] containing 'girded', 'Youthful, well-clad, girded, he has arrived', he concludes.

He recites suitable [verses].

What is suitable in the sacrifice is prosperous, for the prosperity of the sacrifice.

Indeed, he recites seven [verses];

seven indeed are the meters.
