It ends with the śaṃyu [formula].
7.11.2
That is a form of progression.
7.11.3
Just as if, having marched forth, one were to dwell in close proximity to the heavenly world, so indeed is that.
7.11.4
And in that it ends with the śaṃyu [formula]—
7.11.5
all the deities indeed assemble at the introductory sacrifice.
7.11.6
If someone here were to perform the samyājyā offerings,
7.11.7
just as one might lead the wives [of the gods] to meet the assembled multitude of the gods, so indeed is that.
7.11.8
If someone were to say of him there:
7.11.9
“This man has led the wives down to the assembled multitude of the gods;
7.11.10
his wife will go down to the assembly-hall”—it would indeed happen so.
7.11.11
Therefore, moreover, it ends with the śaṃyu [formula],
7.11.12
to prevent confusion among the deities.
7.11.13
The Asuras indeed shut out the gods in this quarter, which is the northeast.
7.11.14
Being in this quarter, they consecrated Soma to kingship.
7.11.15
