út tiṣṭha brahmaṇas pate devā́n yajñéna bodhaya |
ā́yuḥ prāṇáṃ prajā́ṃ paśū́n kīrtíṃ yájamānaṃ ca vardhaya ||1||
Arise, O Brahmaṇaspati; awaken the gods with the sacrifice; increase [his] life-time, breath, progeny, cattle, fame, and the sacrificer [himself].
