Kaushitaki Upanishad 4.9

4.9.1

sa hovāca bālākir ya evaiṣa 'gnau puruṣas tam evāham upāsa iti /

9. Then said Bālāki: 'Him who is this person in fire—him indeed I reverence.' To him then Ajātaśatru said: 'Make me not to converse on him! As the Vanquisher—thus, verily, I reverence him.' He then who reverences him thus, becomes verily a vanquisher amid others.

4.9.2

taṃ hovācājātaśatrur mā maitasmin saṃvādayiṣṭhāḥ /

viṣāsahir iti vā aham etam upāsa iti /

4.9.4

sa yo haitam evam upāste viṣāsahir ha vā anyeṣu bhavati //9//
