pūṣeti pādau pauṣṇau dvāv āgneyāvuttarau tu yau .
syāttṛtīyo'pi vā pauṣṇastisraścānyāḥ parāstu yāḥ ..8..
Two quarter-verses [beginning with] 'Pūṣan' (10.17.3ab) belong to Pūṣan; the subsequent two (10.17.3cd) belong to Agni; / or even the third may belong to Pūṣan, and the other three that follow (10.17.4–6).
