13.112.1

One of his companions told me that a single day before his death he summoned them, enjoined them to fear God, and said to them: "I am leaving you tomorrow, God willing, and my successor over you is God, besides whom there is no god." When he had prayed the noon prayer the next day, God took him in its last prostration. They found at the side of the cave in which he lived a dug grave, with the shroud and embalming spices beside it; so they washed him, shrouded him, prayed over him and buried him there, God have mercy on him.
