مؤعمنی بر چنین اقتحامی شگرف اقدام بموذهآی ، وبی رویتی تاقب ارتکابی بذین عظیمی روا داشتهٔ‌ی ! بدانک درین نواحی عیالان مارا بمثال این عارضه بسیار حادث شوذ ، وچنان گمان افتذ کی زن حامله شده است ، وچون سه ماه بران بگذرذ ، ما فلان بیخ بیاریم وبدهیم ، تا بعد از نضج مادت ، اجابت طبیعت حاصل آنذ ، وبیماری زایل گردذ . خطا کردی ، ودر امضای این رای مخطی توذی، وا گر با ما درین باب مفاوضتی رفتی ، بش از نفاذ بدبیر ، بذین تشویر وتقصیر مأخوذ نگشتئی ، ودر ملامت عاجل ، وعقوبت آجل یفتاذئی . چون حجاب شبهت از روی کار برداشته شذ ، وبیقین بدانست کی خطا کرده است ، وجفت شایسته را بی موجبی وجرمی بدست تلف داذه ، در وی می نگریست ، وبنوحه وزاری می گریست ، ومی گفت :

> such enormity! Know that in these regions, a condition like this often befalls our mates,  
> and the suspicion arises that the female has become pregnant; but when  
> three months have passed, we bring a certain root and give it, so that after the concoction  
> of the matter, the bowels respond, and the ailment disappears. You have erred,  
> and in executing this judgment you were mistaken; and had you held a consultation with us in this matter,  
> before the execution of the measure you would not have been caught in this shame and fault, nor would you have fallen into immediate reproach  
> and ultimate punishment!' When the veil of suspicion was removed from the face of the affair,  
> and he knew with certainty that he had erred, and had needlessly surrendered a worthy mate to destruction  
> without any crime, he looked upon her, and wept with lamentation and wailing,  
> and said:
