> We, or the guests, honor our guest / with kinds of honoring and sorts of benefaction.'
> Then he threw down some figs from the tree, and out of an excess of consideration,
> he shook the branches. The boar had traveled a long road, and his stomach's digestive power was stirred up in craving;
> he began to eat the figs with intense appetite and complete greed. When the pleasantness of the figs' sweetness,
> which tasted of sugar and savor of honey, reached his palate, his voracity increased
> and his appetite was aroused; he took to importunity and persistence, saying: 'O
> brother, the palate still has greed and longing, and this fresh fig has stirred up the chain of my stomach's appetite;
> take trouble and show kindness! For one cannot rise from the table of the generous without being sated with gifts,
> since any feast whose foodstuffs are of short duration is entirely a misfortune and a sin.' The monkey again performed an act of kindness, and shook
> the branches
