# Figure

Head of a laughing youth. Entirely in the round, the apparently shaven head, with the usual type of hairline, has four locks of hair curving from the crown, one each onto the front, back and sides, and their ends, except for the summarily worked lock at the back, curl.

- **Kind:** artefact
- **Date:** 300–499 CE
