Crossbar

Railing crossbar (suci) carved in limestone ('Palnad marble'): -on the outer face with a lotus -on the inner face with the story of Udayana and Samavati. At the centre of the scene Udayana aims his bow at his wife who cowers (in anjali mudra) on the proper left of the roundel.
