Dome-slab

Dome slab carved in limestone ('Palnad marble') with a decorated purnaghata or 'urn of plenty' on a stepped base, with an narrow neck from which emerge lotus buds and flowers. The body of the vessel decorated with garlands and incised waves. Inscribed.
