Figure of Atlas

Atlas. The atlas has a moustache and squats as on BM 1880.179 but with the position of the legs interchanged. The wings are damaged with only traces of feathers. The rather mechanically rounded arms extend from the body and the left arm, entirely undercut, rests a flat substantial hand on the left knee.
