Button

Cast, copper alloy button or ornament in the shape of a bird, with raised head and wings curved back in flight; a pierced lug for attachment on the underside. Two incised lines form a saltire across the upper surface of the wings and short lines are etched around the edge of the tail. The beak is missing.
