Button

Cast, copper alloy button or ornament, in the shape of a stylised bird (?) with a short, fanned tail and wings curved back in flight, or a standing man in a coat and pointed hat (?); with a pierced lug for attachment on the underside. The body is decorated with two dots and two incised lines forming a saltire.
