Dress-pin

Copper alloy hair- or dress-pin finial in the shape of a flat, stylised bird with a comb and rounded beak, the tail missing. The wings are round at the front, pointed at the tip and decorated with a punched circle and dot. The same motif marks each eye. Most of the shaft is missing.
