Button

Cast, copper alloy button or ornament, in the shape of a stylised bird with a large angular head, short squared tail and wings stretched back in flight; a pierced lug for attachment on the underside. The upper surface of the body is decorated with roughly parallel incised lines, the head with crosshatching.
