Bezel

Cast, copper alloy fragment of a signet-ring with part of a flat, elliptical bezel depicting the engraved forepart of a recumbent griffin-like creature but without wings. The shaft is triangular in section, expanding into the shoulder, which is perpendicular to the bezel.
