Bezel

Fragment of a copper alloy finger-ring, cast in one with an oval bezel. The bezel has a flat edge, with a concentric raised rim for a stone or paste insert. There Is also a raised oval rim immediately below each shoulder, probably for additional inserts. There are traces of gilding.
