Finial

Cast, copper alloy object with a slightly convex, roughly circular base and a vase-like shank ending in a domed knob. There is an indentation, just off-centre, in the base, suggesting that the object was finished by turning. Perhaps a finial, but with no obvious means of attachment at the bottom.
