Stair-riser
Stair-riser length with episodes of the Śyāma jātaka read from right to left. Against a rocky backdrop a youthful Śyāma with long hair and a chignon, wearing the brāhmaṇa's sacrificial thread and a skirt-like short lower garment, bends forward with a pot tilted to receive water from a spring or mountain stream.
