# Panel of Buddha

Part of a stupa drum panel showing the Buddha and worshippers. The seated and haloed Buddha is in abhaya; his over-robe, its folds defined by grooves and terraces and the neckline in relief, covers both shoulders and spreads in the lap, and from under his left hand gathered drapery falls straight onto the seat.
