Figure of Maitreya

Head from an image of a Bodhisattva, probably Maitreya. The oval face has smooth and delicate transitions. The prominently rounded and slightly uneven eyes have lids with sharp edges and slant upwards towards the ears under distinct curving edges for eyebrows; between the eyebrows is a worn ūrṇā.
