Figure of Atlas

Panel with an atlas. The atlas squats as on BM 1880.180 and 184 but in three-quarter view. The wings are small and pointed with only flight feathers visible, that on the left, in higher relief on account of the three-quarter position, appearing to join the back below the shoulder.
