Panel

Fragment of a stupa drum panel showing ascetics. An old, bent, bearded ascetic with a large coil of hair, his left leg flexed back below the knee, his damaged right leg perhaps taking his weight, appears to be offering a cloth folded in two from the top, perhaps to the Buddha.
