Figure of Atlas

Panel with an atlas. The atlas squats as on BM 1904.1217.41. The wings, small with a flat border in relief and long ridges for feathers, end in a point. The almost mechanically rounded arms rest their hands on the knees of thick, featureless legs with slightly splayed stumps.
