Panel of Maitreya

Stupa drum panel showing a Bodhisattva, presumably Maitreya, with worshippers. Maitreya's damaged abhaya hand is tilted back and he holds a water pot. The uttarīya lies very thick over the lower left arm; the paridhāna is a dense mass of folds.
