# Figure of Buddha

Seated Buddha, originally in'abhaya-mudra', exceptionally carved in the round. The raised and curved neckline clearly shows the backthrow, which ends behind in a point below the Buddha's left shoulder. The major drapery folds are high rounded ridges and, especially on the back, terraces.
