Made of stone (basalt). Architectural fragment, probably the moulded base of a stupa, in a dark grey basalt. The fragment is part of a podium (vedibandha) and is carved with a seated Bodhisattva in a niche below a row of seated Buddha figures in a recess (antarapatta).
